http://www.c-a-m.com Cameron is a leading provider of flow equipment flow equipment products, systems and services to oil, gas and process industries.
Cameron’s Process Systems division provide equipment and services for the separation and treatment of oil, gas, water and solids. We offer standard and custom-engineered equipment for a range of applications.
Cameron’s products are backed by the Cameron Services network, with highly trained OEM technicians and technology solutions that deliver new levels of efficiency.
We are proud to develop the state-of-the-art PN-1TM multi-fiber membrane. This jointly-owned technology is developed by 6 engineers from Petronas and Cameron’s engineers.
Cameron and PETRONAS collaborated on R&D efforts from 2007, aiming to improve the performance of Cynara C02 membranes, particularly for projects involving large offshore C02 removal.
The result is a patented enhancement named the “PN-1TM Membrane Element”. PN-1TM improves overall performance in the large Cynara membrane element by segregating the membrane fiber bundle into two separate zones, each with membrane fibers of different performance characteristics. This is enabled by using PN-1 TM unique 30” diameter membrane elements, the largest of their kind in the world.
Cameron CPS KL is currently undertaking the design and supply of the largest Acid Gas Removal System (AGRS) in the history of Cameron CPS. The AGRS is for Samsung Engineering Co.Ltd, as part of Petronas Carigali’s (PCSB) Terengganu Gas Terminal (TGAST) ENERGY Project.
This will be the first onshore acid gas removal system for PETRONAS, and the facility has been designed to receive 700MMscfd of natural gas, whilst removing various dangerous contaminants such as C02, H2S, Mercaptans and Mercury
There are 5 primary membrane trains each with 16 nos. of membrane housings. Each housing is fitted with a 30” PN-1 TM membrane element, to allow CO2 removal from the feed gas in the range of 15% to 25% down to the required sales gas specification of 8%.
PN-1 TM is the largest available membrane that optimized for large projects. It features 8 to 10% more capacity than conventional fiber modules, thus lowering CAPEX and footprint requirements. With proven OPEX advantage, our technology is capable to offer low hydrocarbon losses, which significantly result in better hydrocarbon recovery than our competitors.
PN-1 TM membranes have been successfully operating for over 31 years, and continuous operations at over 99.6% availability at SACROC. Our product does not require any superheating, and fully automated operation with remote monitoring capabilities. Our unique hollow fiber module design supports high liquid hydrocarbon recovery, and removes H2S along with C02.
The TGAST facility is expected to deliver the first commercial gas to their buyer in July 2016. Upon completion, this facility will be a showcase plant demonstrating the state-of-the-art PN-1 TM membrane.
From upstream to downstream, from offshore to onshore, we are there! We have one distinct vision – to create flow control technology that will energize the world. This purpose guides us and drives us to understand our direction and our common objectives.
Cameron. Raising performance – together!
