This was a first test print, so obviously the supports are to be optimized for easier/cleaner removal. This can be done by printing the object at a different angle, as well as changing settings for the support structures.
Several tools are used, shown at the beginning of the video.
This object was printed on the Intamsys Funmat HT, a high-performance 3D printer specifically designed for printing high-temperature engineering thermoplastics like PEEK, ULTEM (PEI), PPSU, as well as all other 3D Printed filaments – ranging from Carbon Fiber Nylon to ABS or TPU.
At $5k, this printer is a fraction of the cost of traditional options – due to expired patents, we can now bring you these special thermoplastics for 3D Printing at a ridiculously low price. Not to mention lower material costs, time-saving turnaround times, and rapid prototyping abilities, the Funmat HT is changing the game of Industrial, high-performance 3D Printing.
